On Friday 24 November 2023, Dr Stéphanie Zwillinger appeared on the “Salut L’Île-de-France” on 20 minutes TV to mark National Myopia Week in France.

During this awareness-raising campaign, Dr Stéphanie Zwillinger stressed the importance of screening children for myopia, as 1 in 5 children is myopic: “We learn to see well just as we learn to walk well”. 

Children have no frame of reference, which is why it’s important that they consult a vision specialist as soon as possible!
